Animal Keeping and Hygiene Awareness Programme
Chris Hani District Municipality in collaboration with Inxuba Yethemba Local Municipality and stakeholders such as the Department of Agriculture, SAPS Stock Theft Unit, Traffic Department, and Fire and Disaster Management, successfully hosted an Animal Keeping and Hygiene Awareness Programme at Vusubuntu Hall, Cradock today.Led by MMC, Cllr Malibongwe Fatyela, the event aimed to educate community members and animal owners on the importance of maintaining proper animal keeping practices, disease prevention, and environmental hygiene in line with Environmental Health Norms and Standards. It encouraged community cooperation to promote healthy living environments, prevent the spread of animal-related diseases, and ensure compliance with municipal by-laws.
