Chris Hani District Municipality (CHDM) is in discussions with AbaThembu Royal Kingdom to prepare for the King’s courtesy visit to the district. This comes after a meeting with a delegation sent to the district by the King of AbaThembu, King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo recently. The AbaThembu Royal Kingdom delegation led by Chief Babalo Papu briefed CHDM political leadership on the planned visit by the King saying it is part of the King’s ongoing programme around the Kingdom.
The courtesy visit will enable engagement on critical issues which include amongst others introducing planned programmes by the Kingdom, issues of Gender Based Violence, Moral Regeneration and other related issues as well ensuring closer working relations going forward.
