African Farmers Association of South Africa

Premier Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane is joining hands with the African Farmers’ Association of South Africa (AFASA) today at the East London ICC for the highly anticipated 2026 Land Summit.
This two-day event happening on 6th and 7th May 2026 brings together government leaders, farmers, and experts to tackle one of our province’s most important goals which is moving “from access to success.”
Focusing on secure land tenure, the Premier is ensuring that our farmers don’t just have land, but have the legal security and support they need to grow their businesses and feed our communities.
The summit is packed with practical workshops and expert discussions on sustainable land management and community rights. For the Eastern Cape Provincial Government, this isn’t just a meeting, rather it’s about creating real opportunities for our people to prosper through agriculture.
