Chris Hani District Municipality has today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Statistics South Africa at Bells Road Offices in Komani. This mutually beneficial partnership will enable both institutions to access and generate credible data to support informed planning and improved delivery of government and municipal services.
Speaking at the signing, Municipal Manager, Mr Gcobani Mashiyi, emphasised that the partnership follows a strategic approach by the district to collaborate with key institutions in order to enhance efficiency, particularly in the municipal data for revenue management, organizational planning, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as we are approaching LGE2026.
