The former Mayoral Committee Member of the Chris Hani District Municipality, former Mayor and Speaker of Inxuba Yethemba Local Municipality will be laid to rest on Wednesday, 09th September 2020. Her untimely departure has left a huge void in the Chris Hani community and beyond due to her role and immense contribution in the fulfillment of the country’s developmental agenda as she directed her efforts towards the betterment of others.
Cllr Goniwe, was unshaken yet humble as she fought a good fight and did not surrender on her true ideals for the emancipation of women.
