Engagement session

Chris Hani District Municipality (CHDM) held an engagement session bringing together its engineering officials, the Water Research Commission (WRC), and a technology partner Protégé Technical in the Council Chambers Komani, today.
The purpose of the session is to introduce a digital solution aimed at addressing water wastage within the district. Protégé is spearheading this initiative, which forms part of a pilot project designed to enhance operational efficiency and reduce water losses caused by leaks.
The pilot project by Protege Technical will spread across 18 months, during which the solution will be implemented and customized to suit the specific needs of CHDM’s water infrastructure.
This engagement underscores CHDM’s commitment to improving service delivery through strategic partnerships.
