GBV SUMMIT

South Africans, including government institutions, the private sector, education and training institutions, religious and cultural institutions are held accountable for building a safe and Gender Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) free environment. On the 19th and 20th of October 2022, at the CHDM Council Chambers, various stakeholders gathered to engage on the Provincial Summit Against GBVF held in East London’s ICC Hotel. The 2-day summit was conducted under the theme: “Accountability, Acceleration and Amplification NOW”, and promotes bold leadership, strengthened accountability and adequate response to the scourge of GBVF
