Handed-over a new fleet to CHDM satellite offices

Executive Mayor, Cllr Lusanda Sizani handed-over a new fleet to CHDM satellite offices in all LMs at Indoor Sport Centre, Komani today. This follows a 48-month Intergovernmental Full Maintenance Vehicle Lease Agreement (FML) signed with G-Fleet, giving the district access to 66 service delivery vehicles. G-Fleet Management is a government entity under the Department of Roads and Transport in South Africa.

These vehicles will immensely improve water service provision, operations and maintenance across the district. The initiative effectively reduces fleet management costs, strengthen operations while mitigating service outages.

All LM Mayors and Executive Mayors reviewed this step as a progressive step towards an improved water service provision.
