Komani water update

The Technical Team from the Department of Water and Sanitation continues to work on the Waterdown Dam components that have failed. Indication from the team is that, this may take longer than anticipated and no water supply is expected until towards the end of the week. Seven water trucks are currently deployed in Komani and Whittlesea areas, however , this service is never adequate especially when water is drawn from other towns .

Meanwhile Xonxa flanges repair work is in progress – the team is expected to undertake both repairs and testing to speed up the process. We will keep the community informed.
