MUNICIPAL PROPERTY ACQUISITION: NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE PROPERTY

Notice is hereby given In terms of Section 33 of the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Act No. 56 of 2003, and Section 21A of the Municipal Systems Act, Act No. 32 of 2000, the Chris Hani District Municipality intends to enter in an agreement to purchase property from ANYAVISON (PTY) LTD

Property Details:

Office building located at 46 Cathcart Road, Queenstown. The property will be used for administrative purposes to support the operational needs of the Chris Hani District Municipality. The acquisition of this property is crucial for improving the municipality’s administrative functions, ensuring that public services are managed more efficiently and effectively.

 

Notice is further given in accordance with section 21 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, No 32 of 2000 that: Members of the public are invited to:

  • Submit written comments or objections concerning the intended property purchase.
  • All comments and objections must be submitted in writing by no later than (Supply chain to advise) and hand-delivered to Chris Hani District Municipality, 42 Cathcart Road, Queenstown.
