National Spatial Development Framework

Today, the Department of Land Reform & Rural Development (DRDLR) conducted a workshop on National Spatial Development Framework (NSDF) , aiming at ensuring alignment of Eastern Cape Spatial Development Framework and Municipalities Spatial Development Frameworks with the National Spatial Development Framework.
The workshop attended by all Local Municipalities within CHDM area of jurisdiction.
DRDLR has in 2024-2025 funded CHDM development of Spatial Development Framework (SDF). The district municipality remains compliant with requirements of SPLUMA.
The department handed over critical tools essential for the development frameworks, included, maps, banners, and booklets.
