#StakeholderEngagement | Chris Hani Development Agency (CHDA) hosted a workshop on Wattle-Biochar Project. The project seeks assist to eradicate wattle in the district and process it.
As per the signed Inter-Governmental Relations agreement between National Cogta, CHDM and CHDA, government has welcomed Aqua Libra as one of its smart partners to implement Wattle-Biochar Project in the district.
Addressing stakeholders, Executive Mayor, Cllr Lusanda Sizani urged all key participants in this project to work with urgency so that the project can start as soon as possible.
This project will benefit Emalahleni LM, Sakhisizwe LM, Dr AB Xuma LM and Intsika Yethu LM as the most affected by wattle.
