The Mayors are attending a Water and Sanitation Ministerial Visit and currently engaging on the state of Water and Sanitation Services in CHDM.

Chris Hani District Municipality Mayors and Executive Mayors led by CHDM Executive Mayor, Cllr Lusanda Sizani are currently locked in a closed session with the Minister of Water and Sanitation, Mr Senzo Mchunu at the East London ICC.
The Mayors are attending a Water and Sanitation Ministerial Visit and currently engaging on the state of Water and Sanitation Services in CHDM.
The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Mr Senzo Mchunu joined by his deputies, Mr David Mahlobo, Ms Judith Tshabalala MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Mr Zolile Williams, is in the Eastern Cape Province to asses state of water supply and water projects in the Province including CHDM.

The Portfolio Head for Infrastructure, Cllr Bongeka Nobuntu, CHDM Municipal Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Director for Technical Services are also part of the session.
