The 7th Chris Hani National Wool Growers’ Association (NWGA) Regional Indaba was held today in Dr AB Xuma Local Municipality, bringing together wool farmers from across the district.
The event was honoured by the presence of Chris Hani District Municipality Executive Mayor Cllr. Lusanda Sizani and MMC for Integrated Planning & Economic Development (IPED) Cllr, Nosipho Papiyana, who joined in celebrating the vital contributions of local wool growers to the agricultural economy.
The Indaba provides a platform for farmers to engage in industry developments, share knowledge, and strengthen collaboration within the wool sector. The Chris Hani District remains one of South Africa’s key wool-producing regions.
