Lockdown Alert Level 1

As the country moves to Lockdown Alert Level 1, CHDM Executive Mayor Cllr Wongama Gela handed over PPE (3000 gloves and 4000 face masks) to the district Dept of Health. This gesture sends a message to commuties that, even though the country’s economy is opening up, people should continue to observe all regulations presented as part of Level 1 Lockdown regulations. All health protocols should be implemented as prescribed. A warning was announced that the country awaits a second wave of COVID-19.
