Mainstream and local media was engaged on the Labour Activation Programme through Food Aggregation that will see young people obtaining jobs across the district. Build-up programmes towards the launch in May 2026 commenced yesterday, with 850 young people from Enoch Mgijima being inducted at the Indoor Sport Centre. The induction has now spread to other LMs until Friday, the 20th.
Today, media houses were afforded a platform to receive first hand information on the programme where the Executive Mayor, Cllr Lusanda Sizani, tabled a step by step outline alongside MMC, Cllr Malibongwe Fatyela, Mayors from LMs, CHDM Municipal Manager, CHDA board members, and the CEO.
