As planned, a Chris Hani District Municipality (CHDM) delegation led by Council Speaker, Cllr Jongumzi Cengani, met with Middelburg residents on Tuesday to engage on issues relating to water shortages.
his engagement follows a weekend visit by municipal technical teams, which brought immediate relief by supplying clean drinking water to affected areas while investigations into longer-term solutions continue.
CHDM remains committed to working with communities to improve service delivery and ensure sustainable water supply.
