CHDM Executive Mayor, Cllr Lusanda Sizani with the Department of Agriculture representatives is currently engaging Farmers concerning commercial feedlots and Foot & Mouth Disease (FMD) Prevention/Awareness .
Among the solutions discussed in this meeting to contain FMD, is to establish Joint Operations Committee (JOC). The Local JOC will consist of all farming associations, Department of Agriculture , Doctors for animals, CHDM and representatives from local municipalities.
