Reports of a wildfire on the R67 between KwaMaqoma (Fort Beaufort) and Komani (Queestown) at or nearer to the Nico Malan Pass.
Fire services and Provincial Traffic have been activated, However visibility is very poor and the road will be temporarily closed until the smoke is cleared up to avoid any motor vehicle accidents.
Alternative routes:
1. From R67 road to R63 road > Fort Beaufort to Alice to R345 > Hogsback (gravel road) to N6 Cathcart
